Growing a Cut Flower Class

Did you know there is an entire category of cut flowers that thrive when planted in the Fall and overwinter into the Spring?

These are called Cool Season Flowers and their season is NOW!

Join Rita in our demonstration gardens at the nursery to discuss and see how to prepare your cut flower garden for planting, select varieties that will thrive in our climate plus how to plant, trellis, deadhead, harvest and maintain your cut flower garden.

We will discuss varieties that we grow from seed, along with the poisonous plants that are beloved in the cool season garden, but that we do not grow at our edible nursery!

Techniques applied in the cool season garden can also apply to the warm season cut flower garden.

BONUS:Participants will receive a deep discount on a full flat of cool season cut flowers to start their own garden. $65 for 18 plants of your choice (retail value over $100!) Offer available immediately after the class only.
